On October 24th, the proprietors committee of Hangzhou Oriental Top sent a silk banner that read “Serve People, Fulfill Responsibility” to the service center, in recognition of Binjiang Property staff’s close and quick cooperation with the police in noticing and capturing a suspect in the early morning to ensure the safety of the shop.

On a recent day, Li Jianhu, a night shift fire control officer of Hangzhou Oriental Top, was monitoring the screen and, at 3:37 AM, suddenly noticed a suspicious figure lingering around the entrance of the women’s clothing store in the residential quarter.

Li Jianhu immediately informed the patroller Sun Lifeng who arrived near the store to observe secretly. Soon, they confirmed the suspicious man’s intention of burglary. Sun Lifeng and Li Xiaolei, the order foreman stayed nearby and kept a close eye on the suspicious man.

At 3:40, through the joint security defense walkie-talkie, Li Jianhu reported the situation to Ningwei Police Station. The police soon arrived and initiated a capture of the suspicious man with the cooperation of the order team members.

However, when they entered the store, the suspicious man was gone. The police found that a rear window on the second floor of the store was open and speculated that the suspect escaped through this window.

It was less than 10 minutes from identifying the suspect to the joint search by the police and the vigilantes from the property management team. Through analysis and investigation, the police quickly tracked down and apprehended the suspect.

The owner of the women’s clothing store heard the news and soon arrived to express her heartfelt gratitude to the Ningwei Police Station for its rapid response and to the Binjiang Property for their responsibility. “Thanks to the quick action of the police and the property management staff, my store didn’t suffer any loss,” said the excited owner.
