On May 29th, the property management staff of Golden Garden were commended by the subdistrict office, the police station and the community for the quick movement of putting out a fire.

At 7:37AM that day, a battery car parked in front of an outer shop of Golden Garden suddenly burst into flames, and three electric bicycles beside were ignited, too. The situation was extremely critical.

The order foreman Huang Yongkang on the day shift patrolled to the outside of the fire passage about 1 minute after outbreak of the fire and found thick smoke. He instantly reported to the fire control center which promptly notified members of the micro firefighting station and personnel on duty nearby to rush to the scene with fire extinguishers.

Though everyone knew that the battery would burst and may even explode at any time during the fire fighting, they chose to face the challenge and take on their responsibility to extinguish the fire despite personal safety.

The patroller Zhan Jianbo responsible for patrol of outer shops and the foreman Huang Yongkang on the day shift conducted professional and effective fire fighting, and the open fire was extinguished within 30 seconds. Then patroller Zhao Liguo and basement patroller Zhou Nianchun got to the site with more extinguishers. Soon, the fire was completely put out within 5 minutes. Immediately after that, they cut off the power. When the fire brigade arrived, the risk has already been cleared.

Such precise and efficient fire fighting work fully reflects close attention that the property management sector has paid to daily firefighting training and shows the professionalism and strong sense of responsibility of the property management staff.

There is nothing trivial about fire safety.
