They Lent a Helping Hand to an overturned Vehicle that Caught Fire

On the morning of February 27th, a sharp collision shattered the tranquility of Dream Lake, a residential quarter in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City.
On Xiangshi Road outside Dream Lake, a white SUV suddenly lost control and collided with another car parked on the roadside. The immense impact caused the white SUV to overturn and catch fire. The flames rose rapidly, and thick smoke billowed out.
After hearing the unusually loud sound, the Binjiang Property staff at Dream Lake immediately rushed out to offer assistance.
The team worked efficiently, with some calling 119 and 120 and some quickly took fire extinguishers from the residential quarter’s fire control facility. E Wenkai, the order foreman, along with order team members Zhao Jiale and Zhang Wanwang, grabbed extinguishers and resolutely rushed to the burning vehicle to put out the fire and rescue the driver. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed and managed to crawl out through the sunroof and land safely with the instruction of order team members.
Despite the fierce flames and heat waves, order team members didn’t shrink back but pulled off the safety pin and aimed at the root of the fire as they used to do during drills. Soon, the fire was under control. After several minutes of intense firefighting, they successfully extinguished the fire before the arrival of the firefighters.
On March 1st, the driver of the burning car along with his family members visited the Dream Lake service center and presented a silk banner in gratitude for Binjiang Property staff’s heroic actions and timely rescue, and for their bringing positive energy to society. Had it not been for the timely assistance of the property management staff, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
