Hangzhou Haiming Yayuan
In Hangzhou Haiming Yayuan, to carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng, the engineering staff sharpened over 60 knives and the cleaning staff washed more than 80 carpets for the residents. There were also volunteer residents who altered over 20 pairs of pants for their neighbors. Yang Haijun, the order director serving at Wangu Jade Article Mansion, who has the skill of haircutting, also provided free haircuts for over 20 elderly residents in the residential quarter. Together, they practiced the spirit of Lei Feng and exemplified their willingness to contribute and serve through their actions.
Thousand Island Lake The City Star
On March 1st, the property management staff of The City Star in Thousand Island Lake hosted a Lei Feng Day event with the support of Chun’an Xiushui Volunteer Team. Coinciding with the “dragon head raising day” on the second day of the second lunar month, the hair-cutting service was particularly popular among the residents. In addition, the massage service was also a highlight of the event. One of the massage volunteers was a visually impaired resident of the residential quarter, who proactively signed up for the event, exemplifying her dedication to serving the people. Inspired by her, the property management staff expressed that they should learn from her spirit of volunteer service and apply it to their future work.

In collaboration with Kaixuan neighborhood committee, the property management staff hosted a “Learning from Lei Feng” Spring Breeze Volunteer event with a theme of neighborhood mutual assistance, environmental public welfare, and care for the elderly. Mr. Wang, a proprietor of the residential quarter and the owner of a beauty and hair salon, arranged for professional stylists from his shop to provide free haircuts for the elderly within the residential quarter, the neighborhood committee invited traditional Chinese medicine practitioners to offer pulse diagnosis and blood sugar checks for residents. Besides, merchants offering mobile phone screen protection services also joined in the public welfare efforts. The residents participating in the event remarked that the event was worth promoting as it really lived up to the spirit of “Lei Feng Day” and warmed residents with top-notch services.
Hangzhou Jiangnan Mansion
The property management staff serving Hangzhou Jiangnan Mansion actively responded to the call of the company and organized the “Learning from Lei Feng” Spring Breeze Volunteer event to leverage their skills to serve residents. In addition to regular services such as home appliance maintenance, bicycle repair, and electrical wiring inspection, the property management staff learned from their role model Lei Feng and also offered special services for the elderly living alone, such as offering storage bags and providing mobile app instructions.

The “Learning from Lei Feng” activity organized by the service center of Yiwu Exquisite Luxury featured free clinic consultations, knife grinding, and waterpipe and electrical wiring inspection.
