We prepare a bundle of mugwort, a fan, and a sachet for you for the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival. But what kind of zongzi do you like?
Residents from the north and the south have different preferences for salty or sweet zongzi. “First, roll the reed leaves into a funnel, put some glutinous rice in the funnel, add a piece of meat, then fill it with more glutinous rice, and finally fold the reed leaves and tie the zongzi tightly with a string…” At the Dragon Boat Festival event organized by Binjiang Property, zongzi experts among the residents were teaching other residents how to make zongzi step by step. Making zongzi sounds easy, but it’s a test of the maker’s technique. The zongzi newbies learned carefully, and with good teachers, their zongzi-making skills improved quickly. At the end of the event, residents took photos with their handmade zongzi, proudly showcasing their greatest achievements for the Dragon Boat Festival.
