Property Management Staff Rescued and Extinguished a Fire in the Kitchen of a Proprietor at Golden Jiangnan
On the afternoon of April 20th, 2019, the fire alarm controller of Golden Jiangnan received the smoke alarm in a building. The order maintainer Jing Yunchun first rushed to the floor. Through an open door he saw heavy smoke in the kitchen, and heard somebody crying in the room. Putting aside his personal safety, he hurried into the room to rescue the proprietor and put out the fire with the extinguisher. The proprietor not yet recovered from the fright told that the fire was caused by the forgotten boiling oil in the kitchen.
Once the fire was confirmed, the property service center immediately initiated the emergency plan and called 119. The order director Lian Erhuan led the members of micro firefighting station to the fire scene, and the fire was controlled and finally put out in about 5 minutes by these members with their solid firefighting skills. The fire brigade arrived at this time followed by the police. They checked that the fire was completely extinguished and recognized the firefighting action of the property management staff.
The proprietor was incidentally injured at the scene and the order maintainer drove him to the hospital, reflecting the true and genuine affection between proprietors and the property management staff. This fire caused damage to several circuit in the house. Upon careful examination, the engineering division of the service center managed to restore the lighting circuit for the proprietor and arranged for the cleaning staff to assist the proprietor to clean the room so that the proprietor could resume a normal life as soon as possible.
It is still an urgent issue to improve proprietors’ fire awareness. For the purpose of constructing a harmonious, safe, and beautiful home, Hangzhou Golden Jiangnan Service Center dedicatedly held a fire safety training before the holiday, where the fire squadron of Qianjiang Century City were invited to give a training to property management staff and proprietors about how to use extinguishers, how to put out early fire, how to escape fire and rescue themselves. Both property management staff and proprietors benefited a lot from this training.
