At around 10:30 PM on June 3rd, 2019, a help message appeared in the WeChat group chatting room of Binjiang Property New City. It was from Luo Anping, a project director who was at that time investigating and studying in Japan.

The message said that there was an emergency at Kangkang Valley which is under Director Luo’s administration. The monitoring center of Kangkang Valley observed a flood risk on F6, and there were proprietors called and reported huge quantities of water inside rooms on F6.

When the security foreman Dai Changliang arrived at the site, the corridor was wholly flooded, and it was difficult to determine the place of pipe burst. Under such circumstance, the firefighting specialist Zhang Jiatao instantly initiated the emergency procedures and reported such situations to the project director. Meanwhile, he promptly closed the fire protection valve, turned off the power, and raised elevators of this building up to the top floor.

After receiving the help message from Director Luo, Guo Chunlan, the vice-GM as well as the secretary of general Party branch, rushed to the site in no time to arrange rescue work.

"When trouble occurs at one spot, help comes from all quarters.", as the saying goes. New City’s engineering manager Feng Junwei and project directors Zhang Lei and Zhou Yang rushed to the scene to carry out rescue by instructions. And, within 15 minutes, New City’s vice-GM Zheng Huaming and project directors Han Shuijiong, Diao Jun, Cai Wei, Wu Haijiang, and Zhang Zhenjian also led their colleagues to the rescue work.

Despite all difficulties, Binjiang Property people strived against the flood at the front line and got wet through. It was still cold during the wee hours in this early summer. Party member Feng Junwei was slightly injured during the rescue, but he continued to work after simply handling the wound.

After a night of unremitting work, proprietor losses and secondary accidents were minimized. Party members of Binjiang Property played a pioneering role in this rescue, and the New City’s rescue staffs got united and showed their bravery and highly efficient execution this night. Proprietors and Party A’s leaders were moved by Binjiang Property personnel’s professional dedication and commended Binjiang Property for its work.

At daybreak of this day in early summer, people full of positive energy welcomed the first beam of sunlight.
