We would like to thank you for the high level support and management during the Covid-19. As Belgian citizens, we moved to Shangyu in October 2019, and we had the luck to arrive in City Star. The beautiful landscaping and friendly people made us decide to live here. Our housekeeper Susan supports us very good and even helps with translations with our express delivery guys!!! During the difficult past months, everybody at City Star did their best to make us feel safe and keep us healthy. These strict and prompt measures were very professional! We felt very safe!! We hope we can live here for many years and enjoy the good live! Special thanks to our housekeeper Susan for the great support!

Housekeeper Susan: Serve Proprietors Regardless of Countries,
Walk in the Opposite Direction to Defend the Home


The story of Mr. Stan and Binjiang Property started in the middle of 2019. Employed by a company in Shaoxing, Mr. Stan and his wife came to Shangyu from Belgium and resided in The City Star of Binjiang Property. During the pandemic, residents were restricted from going outside and thus all daily supplies and necessities would have to be purchased and delivered by the delivery staff. However, disappointingly, Mr. Stan could not communicate with the deliveryman smoothly.


Fortunately, the housekeeper Su Shanshan (i.e. Susan, who had been a director assistant and concurrently served as a housekeeper during the pandemic) witnessed the scene and voluntarily translated for both sides after she came over and understood the situation. Since then, she often helped deliver express parcels to Mr. Stan’s home, eliminating his difficulties in communication.


In March 2020, the pandemic was getting even more serious abroad. Susan the housekeeper thought of Mr. Stan and his family immediately. She messaged them to see if they had any troubles in life and also visited in person to chat with and comfort them. Despite the subtleness of such acts, the housekeeper’s service beyond national boundaries and efforts fighting against the pandemic warmed Mr. Stan’s family indeed. They called the housekeeper and Binjiang Property sunflowers bringing sunshine to their life far away from home.

Susan, as the director assistant, was transferred to the service center of Golden Landing in Shaoxing for work need by the end of March 2020. And she will continue to give full play to her personal advantages to serve proprietors there well.
