For the purpose of epidemic prevention and control, the Lantern Festival activity at Hangzhou The City Star was divided into two sections on the morning and afternoon of the festival. Except for the traditional dragon dance in the morning, proprietors could also enjoy lantern riddles, tangyuan, and lantern DIY in the afternoon at two independent spaces in the club. As a basic rule, proprietors were required to wear masks and keep social distance throughout the activity.
The lantern riddle party, organized by the property management service center, attracted proprietors of all age groups to have a try to guess hundreds of riddles written on red lanterns hung all over the hall and win prizes as well as showcase their intelligence. At Quzhou Chunjiangyue and Jinhua Golden Landing, traditional riddle guessing was also the hottest Lantern Festival event that many parents pondered and figured out those riddles together with their children.
In ancient time, Lantern Festival offered people chances to become attached to each other. Nowadays, many projects love to organize lantern DIY activities for their proprietors. Hangzhou Yunheting Zhuxuan invited studio teachers to taught proprietors to paint lanterns, and Hangzhou Riviera Mansion offered its proprietors the chance to make and paint lanterns by themselves. Bing Dwen Dwen, the mascot of Beijing Winter Olympics, has become a hit today and is in very short supply. But for proprietors of Hangzhou Central Mansion, there was no worry because they had the awesome chance to make their own Bing Dwen Dwen at the Lantern Festival activity!
Making, eating, and sharing tangyuan is an indispensable activity of Lantern Festival. At Quzhou Moon River, children had a wonderful experience of making tangyuan with their parents. A bowl of tangyuan stuffed with sweet black sesame enriches the taste of Lantern Festival and make this Spring Festival of the year of the tiger complete.
