Property Management Staff of A Shanghai Residential Quarter Received 60+ Silk Banners After Shanghai’s Reopening
The property management staff of Shanghai Park One has received 63 silk banners and many letters of thanks from proprietors since the reopening of the megacity Shanghai in June.
“YYDS” and 60+ Silk Banners
“Dedicated epidemic control work, heart-warming services” is what written on the silk banner bestowed by a proprietor to project director Zhang Quanzhong. During the two months of lockdowm, director Zhang took the heavy responsibility and led all property management personnel to overcome difficulties and guarantee the life and health of all proprietors.
The silk banner received by the steward Wu Yan read “YYDS”, which is the abbreviation of the network buzzword “Yong Yuan De Shen (God forever)”. Many other frontline property management workers such as property stewards Yin Xing, He Fang, Hong Feng, Cheng Xiaoling and Wan Lin, order team members and engineering personnel also received silk banners from proprietors. Many “YYDS” silk banners were also given as collective awards to all property management personnel.
“To Shi Dongmei, You Are the Person I’m Most Grateful to During Epidemic Control”
“To Shi Dongmei, you are the person I’m most grateful to during the epidemic control.” Mr. Yang, a proprietor of Shanghai Park One, wrote a letter of thanks. “The sudden resurgence of the epidemic made us at loss. But the timely contact of the steward Shi Dongmei let me see hope from confusion,” said Mr. Yang in the letter.

“Especially, we live in a ‘positive building’. It is easy to imagine the pressure and workload of our stewards. When hearing that her sprained her waist when carrying goods and materials for us, we all consoled and blessed her from the bottom of heart. It is so lucky to have such a hardworking steward and to feel special love that dispelled the feeling of loneliness and helplessness.” Steward Shi Dongmei took pains to provide services and care to proprietors during the toughest time in Shanghai. Likewise, she was sincerely blessed by proprietors when the accident happened. This is two-way love.
Sweet Hard Currency Cola
It was difficult to go to a hospital in Shanghai during the lockdown. On April 24th, the father of proprietor Mr. Wang got sudden illness. Fortunately, the building steward He Fang offered a helping hand. She contacted neighborhood committee for outing permission, helped borrow a wheelchair and send the old man to a hospital. When they were in urgent need of daily necessities which were very difficult to acquire during that time, they immediately thought of He Fang who was very kind and helped contact a neighbor who worked in the hospital to help them out.

Cola was the “hard currency” during the blockade. He Fang cared for the special conditions of Mr. Wang and put what they bought in the elevator but also sent “Fat Nerd’s Merry Drink”—cola to them. “I feel sweet when drinking it. The bitterness in the period is diluted by the sweetness.” The letter of thanks wrote by Mr. Wang expressed his thanks and respect to the property management team and property steward He Fang in the hard time.
“So-called peaceful time is paid for with others’ dedication”
Proprietor Mrs. Shi wrote “So-called peaceful time is paid for with others’ dedication” in her letter of thanks. In this sudden epidemic blocking action, the property management personnel of Shanghai Park One took anti-epidemic measures immediately, supported anti-epidemic department to implement quarantine, control and full-disinfection work in the community, assisted nucleic acid testing for blockaded buildings and stuck to their post.
Wearing white airtight suit, they helped residents to transfer express packages and group-buying articles at the temperature of 30℃. In stormy weather one day, property management staff Li Yunying got completely wet in the rain, but she persisted in transporting daily necessities and materials for the whole community. In the opinion of Mrs. Shi, this reflects extraordinary persistence and perseverance on commonplace post; they are worthy of the title of heroes who take pains and devote wholeheartedly to work.

The hard-earned life should be cherished. The property management personnel of Shanghai Park One will accomplish their mission, live up to proprietors’ trust and love, protect them from the epidemic and bring happiness and hope back to their life.
