On May 30th, 2022, Tianmu News and Binjiang Service Group jointly launched the “Find Your Light” short video competition for Binjing Property proprietors. By June 20th, over 200 short videos were posted to “Chaoke” channel of Tianmu News with the hashtag of #寻找你的光# (Find Your Light), receiving more than 700K likes in total. The thought-provoking topic makes people realize that life is about constant questioning and one new start after another.

A lot of videos received over four thousand, five thousand, eight thousand and even ten thousand likes, which are amazing. Many participants regard it as a surprising gift from their followers on the social platform and even take it as a highlight moment in their lives.

In short videos, proprietors shared everything in their residential quarters, such as stories about fighting against the COVID-19 this spring and summer, the natural soccer field, the artistic buildings, the beautiful landscape, the home-grown in-season red bayberry and loquat, the colorful community activities, and the daily work of property management staff. What they were looking for is the light of life, the light of service, and the light of hope.

The carefully edited short videos show proprietors’ love for their lives, their homes, and their neighbors, and their recognition of the property management service. The likes given by friendly and enthusiastic fans on Tianmu News are the greatest support and encouragement to Binjiang Property’s proprietors and shine the light of kindness of those unseen fans.

The intention of these short videos is to show the unique beauty and the humanistic environment of the residential quarter from various perspectives. “I want to share the beauty of East Coast to more people and tell them that except for scenic spots in Qiandao Lake, there’s another kind of scenery hidden in our residential quarter,” said Mr. Xiao, a proprietor of Qiandao Lake East Coast.

Ms. Wang is the author of “Morning, Myriad Flower”, which has received thousands of likes. “The first thing I thought of when I saw the theme in proprietors’ WeChat group was the quality services and experience offered by Binjiang Property to proprietors of Myriad Flower. And I thought, ‘isn’t it the light I’m looking for?’ It took me over one week to shoot and edit the video because I wanted the natural light. It’s lucky that I can finish it before the rainy season,” she said when talking about her feelings about the competition.

Based on the likes given by fans and the professional review of the video center of Tianmu News, experts who once served as judges of the Cross-Strait College Student Photography Competition and the Cross-Strait College Student Short Video Competition, and senior film editors of Zhejiang TV station, the highly anticipated winners list was finally released.

The “Summer Loquat Sharing” by Xixi Baby from Hangzhou Jiangnan Mansion is the winner of the first prize; and “The Quiet and Pleasant Time” by Jiangnan star (Chaoke_7ny3bh) from Hangzhou Jiangnan Star wins both the second prize and the award of popularity.
