Binjiang Property’s Open-air Film Festival Brought Back Memories and Developed Another Fever This Summer

Well, the popularity of the open-air film festival among residential quarters served by Binjiang Property has explained all.
In July, Binjiang Property organized the “Bauhinia” open-air film festival to replay classic Hong Kong movies that carry precious memories of proprietors. In Yiwu, many residential quarters replayed A Chinese Odyssey in early July. The property management staff of Yiwu Binjiang Yipin also prepared two thousand ice creams for proprietors at the same time. Many careful proprietors also noticed the beautiful sunset that matched the movie very well. Some said on WeChat Moments that it was Joker coming with a seven-color cloud.
The service centers of Hangzhou Dongfangmingfu and Binjiang Noble Lake chose another Hong Kong movie Shock Wave 2 for their proprietors. “It was in my childhood that I last watched an open-air movie. It really brings back a lot of my memories. And I hope there could more events like this in future,” said a proprietor of Dongfangmingfu. Noble Lake has multiple experiences of open-air movie playing, and the service center also provided proprietors with popcorn and drinks which are classic movie companion to offer a special sense of ritual in open-air movie watching.
In Hangzhou Yongchaofu, another Hong Kong movie Ip Man was also very popular and attracted many passing proprietors. “It is a rare experience to watch movie with neighborhood. It’s like returning to the old times, which is very nice.” The movie offered surprising and also heart-touching moments for proprietors. According to the service center, it was the first time that the number of audiences of an open-air movie reached about 150. In Quzhou Chunjiangyue, a lot of proprietors came with a cattail leaf fan to watch Ip Man with their families. “I like the Hong Kong movie played today. It’s quite nostalgic to watch an open-air movie here,” said proprietor Ye.
In Hangzhou Myriad Flower Phase I, the service center played two classic Hong Kong movies, that is, Once A Thief and Comrades: Almost A Love Story, respectively on two days in July. In the company with their parents, many children also enjoyed the charm of Hong Kong movies with neighbors.
My Life As McDull is a Hong Kong cartoon movie. On an evening in August, over a hundred of proprietors of Hangzhou Sunshine Coast gathered at the lawn to watch the cartoon to learn more about Hong Kong culture. A proprietor said that it was like a return to his childhood to watch an open-air movie at the lawn and that it was a fantastic experience indeed.
Except for Hong Kong movies echoed to the theme, movies of other genres such as cartoons and red movies were also replayed during the “Bauhinia” open-air film festival. In Hangzhou The City Star, Kungfu Panda attracted almost five hundred proprietors according to the service center. In mid-August, Hangzhou Yunheting Xixuan also played Kungfu Panda and Yunheting Zhuxuan played Zootopia to meet children’s needs. Both two movies were well accepted by proprietors who enjoyed the movie time a lot with cotton candy and popcorn.
In Quzhou Yujiangnan, proprietors watched a red movie called Break Through that tells a heroic and moving story about East Zhejiang guerrillas of the New Fourth Army. Proprietors recognized the significance of the movie for patriotic education and for a comparison of life before and now.
