Safely Carrying a Seriously Ill Elderly Man Downstairs During the Elevator Maintenance, He Received a Late Letter of Commendation

In Hangzhou Shuicheng Garden, there is a group of obscure but steadfast property management workers who have been working diligently since Binjiang Property officially took over the property service for Hangzhou Shuicheng Garden on July 1st, 2022. Recently, a late letter of recommendation from a proprietor recorded another good deed of frontline Binjiang Property management staff, taking root in the residential quarter, helping others, and passing on love.

On November 21st, 2023, an elderly man living in Building 14 of Shuicheng Garden became seriously ill and needed to be hospitalized urgently. Unfortunately, the unit elevator was under maintenance and was not available at that time. The elderly man had limited mobility, and the narrow stairs also made it merely possible to carry him downstairs with a stretcher. So, the helpless and anxious family members of the elderly man then sought help from the property service center.

After receiving the call for help, Liu Lin, the project director, and Hu Luxi, the order director, rushed to the proprietor's home on the fourth floor without delay. After the two arrived, Hu carefully got the seriously ill elderly man on his back and carried him out. As the elderly man had been bedridden for a long time, his body was very stiff. So, Liu Lin tightly and carefully protected the elderly man's body and escorted Hu Luxi to carry the elderly man downstairs step by step safely and steadily.

The family members of the elderly man were moved to tears and held the order director Hu Luxi's hand and said, "We really feel the warmth of home getting along with Binjiang Property."

In his daily work, Hu Luxi, the order director, also gives frequent care and help to the elderly in the residential quarter. He always stands in the perspective of proprietors and the elderly and patiently guides and solves problems for proprietors with family-like intimacy. His helpful spirit builds a bridge of trust between proprietors and property management staff and also encourages his colleagues to further improve the service quality of the whole property management team.



The service center describes director Hu as hardworking, down-to-earth, responsible, proactive, and sensitive. Despite the scorching heat or piercing cold, director Hu is dedicated to his job and committed to providing a sense of security for proprietors.



According to the project director Liu, the letter of recommendation from family members of the elderly man has further strengthened the property management staff's determination to provide better and better services for proprietors. The property management staff are grateful for the proprietors' trust and encouragement and will work together and make joint efforts to achieve new goals. Based on the characteristics of the residential quarter, the service center will in the future pay closer attention to details and organize more warm and meaningful community activities for the proprietors to enhance interaction with proprietors and provide care and love to the elderly in the residential quarter.



“Caring about what proprietors are concerned about and addressing what proprietors are troubled by, it is really touching and worthy of praise and learning." The proprietor's heartfelt words in the letter of recommendation reflected the frontline Binjiang Property staff’s service mission of living up to the trust and moving forward with courage.
