On a hot day in July, an electric scooter in Hangzhou Miguo Tongxin Park combusted spontaneously, and the fire quickly spread to the vicinity of the scooter shed, creating a critical situation.

Chen Xiaoqing, an order foreman of Binjiang Property, was the first to spot the fire. Without hesitation, he rushed to the scene and resolutely threw himself into the perilous firefighting efforts using a fire extinguisher and a fire hose. After 8 minutes of firefighting, the fire had been largely contained by the time the fire engines arrived.

Disregarding his own safety and putting collective property on top, Chen Xiaoqing was drenched from head to toe after the fire was extinguished. This summer, the second thank-you letter about frontline Binjiang Property staff’s brave firefighting efforts was sent to Binjiang Property HQ from proprietors of Nongdu City. In the letter, they expressed their appreciation for Binjiang Property’s order staff who not only effectively contained the fire but also ensured the safety of every merchant and customer in the mall, establishing a secure barrier for the mall.

In mid-July, a fire broke out on the top of a shop in Nongdu City. Upon receiving the inspection order from the fire control room, the patroller Wang Jiachen arrived at the scene within 2 minutes and soon located the source of the fire. Confronting the fire, Wang Jiachen and his team members who soon arrived to support quickly took action to put out the fire with fire hoses nearly. From cutting off the power supply to extinguishing the fire with fire hoses, they demonstrated their high proficiency and exceptional teamwork and saved the lives and property of the public in a critical moment.

Fire Safety Is Always of Utmost Importance

Only July 27th, in Hangzhou Hepingqiao Mingyuan served by Binhong Property, a branch of Binjiang Property, the on-duty patroller Lyu Menghui noticed a smoking electric tricycle and immediately reported to the foreman. The service center timely notified the nearest team members to rush to the scene to support, and the engineering director also led the engineer to the scene with fire extinguishers. With the joint efforts of Binjiang Property staff, the fire was extinguished at its early stage.

Upon investigation, it was found that the fire incident was caused due to the proprietor’s unauthorized modification of the circuit and the aging of the wiring. At 10:18 AM on July 29th, a proprietor in Grand Palace left his home, forgetting that the stove was still on, resulting in thick smoke in the kitchen. The fire control room noticed the smoke alarm. After the fire situation was confirmed by the patroller, the project director launched the emergency plan immediately

At 10:20 AM, the order director Zhang Tongsheng and the foreman Zhou Pan first arrived at the fire scene to evacuate proprietors in panic and begin firefighting efforts immediately. The engineering director cut off the power supply of the household from the outdoor meter box. The property management director Mao, after obtaining the electronic lock password from the proprietor, opened the door and rushed to the kitchen with his team. Soon, they found the source of the heavy smoke, turned off the gas stove, put out the fire, and opened all doors and windows for ventilation.
