“I’m a Swimmer”, Riding the Waves and Chasing the Dream! Binjiang Property Tiderip Carnival, Fun for Families
Publisher: Release time:2025-07-14

What children expect the most in summer is a happy summer vacation. But for children here, their greatest desire is to compete for the title of “I’m a Swimmer”. Over a hundred young contestants, accompanied by their parents and Binjiang Property’s property management staff, took buses from various districts of Hangzhou and gathered at Golden Dawn Phase II for the 13th “I’m a Swimmer” swimming contest in 2025 for Binjiang Property’s young proprietors.

Opening Ceremony

During the brief opening ceremony, the host encouraged the contestants to showcase the spirit of “I’m a Swimmer”. The annual swimming contest has become a regular event for Binjiang Group and Binjiang Property. All teams were fully prepared to again serve over a hundred contestants. From property management staff accompanying children and their parents on buses to on-site sign-up, check-in, and guidance personnel, all teams worked seamlessly together, ensuring that the event proceeded smoothly. Putting themselves in the shoes of young contestants and their parents, the property management staff continuously refined event details to enhance the overall experience and comfort. This major sports event not only tested Binjiang Property’s event management capabilities but also highlighted the professionalism and humanistic service spirit of the property management staff.

Warmups

Under the guidance of warmup instructors, the contestants stretched on land and took a dip in the pool to get ready for the game. Parents in the spectator area brimmed with anticipation for the event, and words of encouragement and care from the parents could be heard now and then after the warmups.

Busy Preliminaries

The preliminary round, totaling 32 heats, is divided into two categories, that is, the 20-meter race for children and the 40-meter race for adolescents. The children’s group has always been the largest in terms of participation. As the young swimmers grow older, many of them have moved into the adolescent’s age group, yet their passion for “I’m a Swimmer” contest has never diminished. This year, there are 10 heats for adolescent contestants, representing a higher proportion than last year.

In the preliminary round, most contestants opted for freestyle. They plunged into the pool and glided through the water like flying fish. “I’m quite satisfied with myself and hope to make it to the finals,” said a young girl from the children’s group. As soon as the result sheet for each heat was posted, the contestants and their parents flocked to the result area to check the scores and rankings. Although rankings inevitably vary, it is a shared sentiment of most contestants and their parents that the experience is what is truly rare and valuable, and doing our best is what truly matters.

Fierce Finals

The contestants successfully advancing to the finals were all strong rivals of each other, each hoping to achieve a better result this year and surpass themselves. As the finals began, contestants cleaved through the waves and splashed the water around, exerting all of their strength to strive toward the finish line and leaving no room for their rivals. The competition was especially fierce. In the leading group, some swimmers were a body length ahead of those following closely behind, and some were nearly neck to neck, separated by a mere 0.03 second.

Celebrate Victory on the Podium

After the competition, the final results were announced: Xu Menglu and Wu Tianxing respectively won first place in the girls’ and boys’ divisions of the children’s group, while Fan Yanxi and Zhu Leyan respectively won first place in the girls’ and boys’ divisions of the adolescent group.

It was the third time that Zhu Leyan topped the boys’ division of the adolescent group. “Hangzhou has a great swimming atmosphere, and it’s awesome that Binjiang Property could organize such an event. Hope I can have a good result today,” said Zhu Leyan before the finals. And indeed, he made it! Coming from Binjiang Splendid City, he inspired a group of his peers from the same place to enthusiastically sign up for the contest. Zhu Leyan swims on weekends, and his persistence and passion have paved the way for him to become a stronger version of himself.

A young girl from Xixi Star had participated twice before but never won any awards. This time, she trained even harder before the contest and finally secured a third prize. Her mother was just as thrilled as the child and regarded the award as the best reward for the girl’s persistence and hard work. They expressed gratitude to Binjiang Group and Binjiang Property for organizing the swimming contest and providing a stage for the child to prove herself.

Summer is the best time for swimming. Only passion can make the long training endurable. We wish every little swimmer to ride the waves and forge ahead, and hope that every participant who has put in effort will encounter unique scenery on every journey of life.
