February 4th coincides with the first solar term Beginning of Spring, which indicates the hope of spring. However, the epidemic of COVID-19 was still in a serious situation. But at the same time, both proprietors and property management staff have been supporting each other with love in this war without smoke. Communities under Binjiang Property implement the closed-off management, and we are grateful to proprietors for their cooperation which enables property management staff to defend the first gate of the community and leave the epidemic no opportunity to come in.
Binjiang Property will never stop prevention and control until the epidemic dies out. But as materials for epidemic prevention and control were in short supply, many project directors of Binjiang Property had no choice but to turn to powerful WeChat moments. Hearing about the urgent situation, many warm-hearted proprietors made donations to help. We believe that we are not on our own and it is a war against the epidemic where everyone is contributing to the final victory.
A Mask Transfers the Warmth of Love
On January 31st, Mr. Pan, a proprietor of Myriad Star Phase II provided 800 masks to property management staff for emergency use. And at the same time at Inmost Palace, many anonymous proprietors successively sent a boxful of disinfectants, 30 N95 masks saved from daily life, 4 packets of surgical masks…
On February 1st, proprietors of Golden Dawn Phase I offered 200 masks which were in very urgent need to property management staff. Director Zhang of property management service center mentioned that considering the daily consumption of two masks of a worker in special positions such as waste classification and disinfection, and the masks sent by proprietors were just a timely help to the service center as it was seriously short of masks and it was very difficult to obtain.

Regardless of the quantity of the materials offered by proprietors, all property management staff have already been deeply moved by their kindness demonstrated in the battle against the epidemic. We believe that with one heart and mind, we will finally win the epidemic and eradicate the virus.
Love Filled Initiative of Donation Among Neighbors
The epidemic is ruthless, but there’s always great love between neighbors. As of February 1st, more than 12,000 yuan of donations raised by over one hundred proprietors have been collected since the proprietor committee of Myriad Star Phase I proposed to all proprietors the initiative of donating to support property management staff’s fight against the epidemic on January 26th. In spite of the great shortage of materials and all other difficulties, they successfully purchased emergency materials such as masks, disinfectants, and alcohol for property management staff. The deep love of proprietors helps build up the firmest confidence of property management staff in fighting the epidemic and support property management staff to move forward with the firmest step.
At 21 o’clock on February 1st, the proprietor committee and property management service center of Quzhou Chunjiangyue launched a joint initiative to proprietors, from which we can see that the community has since the outbreak of the epidemic made polite proposals and orderly implemented scientific and precise prevention and control according to law to actively guide proprietors to weather all hardships together.
In the initiative, it reads, “The community is like a huge family. During the fight against the epidemic, we hope that all proprietors can take the broad situation into account and consciously observe the unified management regulations of the community; please be patient when coming in and out through the north gate and cooperate with registration and body temperature measurement; please wash hands frequently, wear masks, and throw wastes into the bins; residents living on lower storeys (below 5F) are suggested taking the stairs and leaving elevators for higher-storey residents; residents of different households should avoid taking the same elevator as far as possible to prevent cross-infection; please stay at home as much as possible and greet acquaintances with a nod or a bow instead of words; the community property management service center has been in short of hands, money, and materials and we suggest sympathetic proprietors making donations to support them.”
As of February 3rd, Quzhou Chunjiangyue has collected donations of more than twenty thousand yuan in total raised by over sixty proprietors. Many other proprietors also actively echoed the initiative and offered precious prevention and control materials including 400 masks and 20 pairs of goggles. Filled with emotion, director Wu of the property management service center told, “We will never let proprietors down and will defend the front line of epidemic prevention and guard the safety and health of proprietors.”
Tissues at Elevators, Good Tip of Epidemic Prevention and Control
Property management staff of Wenjingyuan service center prepared dedicated tissues for elevator buttons at every elevator cage on February 1st and disinfect key public parts such as elevator buttons and cages at least twice a day. Discovering the warm act of property management staff, a proprietor had an idea of providing his own tissues to property management staff and help them economizing on materials. He asked about the number of elevators and really sent a large bag of tissues to the service center in person. Other communities such as Inmost Palace also prepare dedicated tissues at elevator cages for the use of proprietors.
Surely property management staff’s considerate measures of epidemic prevention are worth compliments, but hereby we still want to stress that self-protection is of the same significance as disinfection. According to the introduction of disease control experts, viruses can be widely transmitted through droplets and contact, and once a person touches his mouth, nose or eyes with his hands after touching something that has droplets of infected people on it, he will be infected through the mucosa of these parts. Therefore, we should attach great importance to self-protection, and, after touching public areas, we should not touch our faces but wash our hands through the seven-step hand-washing method with running water and hand sanitizer.
Home Quarantine Does Not Quarantine Love
When informed of the first case of home quarantine in the community, director Han of customer service came out boldly to work on the front line. She personally visited the household to learn about the specific situation and also tracked and recorded the proprietor’s condition every day. To inform more proprietors of the current situation of the epidemic timely, she posted the epidemic prevention advertisement conspicuously at the community gate and showed proprietors the correct way to wear a mask. And as for director Wu of the order team, he/she took the initiative to undertake the important task of spraying disinfectant over the community to make up for the lack of cleaners.
At 10:20 am on February 2nd, the property management staff suddenly received an emergency call from a proprietor who suffered a power failure and needed the help of property management staff urgently. The property management director immediately reported the situation to the community and applied for a suit of protective clothing to the superior government department. After 20 minutes of repair at the proprietor’s house, Chen, wearing the protective clothing from head to toe, finally restored power for the quarantined household at 11:25.
The property management personnel of Binjiang Property assumed the responsibility of the last-100-meter delivery of goods purchased by the quarantined household; separately collected and disposed the quarantined household’s domestic wastes placed outside the door; disinfected the whole floor where the quarantined household live on a daily basis; increased the frequency of elevator cage disinfection; and established an one-to-one help group to satisfy daily demands of the quarantined household.
Facing the epidemic, they are the high-risk frontline guardians who stand fast to their positions and defend every pass in spite of all difficulties including lack of masks, protective clothing and goggles. Proceeding without hesitation, their busy figures tell that they are property management personnel who bravely “walk in the opposite direction”.
Party Members in the Vanguard of the Fight Against Epidemic
A Party member is like a flag. On January 25th, 2020, Guo Chunlan, the secretary of Binjiang Property’s general Party branch, convened an emergency meeting on epidemic prevention and control, where she required Party members to give full and active play to the leading and backbone role and put epidemic prevention on the top. Selflessly, Party members gave up their Spring Festival holidays and the chance of family reunion but established a Party member examination team to work in shifts to investigate the epidemic prevention and control work of various projects.
Party members work on the front line during the epidemic to take body temperature of proprietors, disinfect the parks, deliver goods to quarantined households, and visit elderly proprietors…Binjiang Property insists on Party construction leading advancement of epidemic prevention and control to let the Party flag always fly high on the front line.
