On the morning of May 6th, the fire control room at the service center of Quzhou Wangu Honor Signature received a smoke alarm from the first floor of a building and launched the fire emergency plan immediately. The project director led the property management staff to the site to control the fire in no delay, so did the personnel from the subdistrict and community. With the help of warm-hearted proprietors, staff at the site bravely fought the fire with fire hoses and extinguishers until the fire fighters arrived and put out the fire.

It was preliminarily decided that the fire was caused by the cigarette butt that ignited paperboard and other combustibles piled up on the balcony. This accident warns all proprietors to strengthen their safety awareness and have a safety check on the gas and circuit in their home. It also warns smokers to make sure that cigarette butts are properly extinguished and disposed to avoid fire hazards.
