At 12:00 on May 8th, the service center of Golden Garden received an emergency call from a female proprietor who anxiously explained that she forgot to turn off the heat before going out and there was still something being cooked on the gas stove in her empty house and that she was afraid that there might be fire hazards as she would not be back in two hours.
The service center promptly got in touch with the on-duty order foreman Huang Yongkang and the engineer who went to the proprietor’s house at once. When they arrived, there was a strong smell of burning. With the consent of the proprietor, they opened the door at the fire exit and rushed into the room to turn off the gas and open the window. At the same time, 119 also arrived.
The property management staff notified the proprietor of the removal of the hazard, and their prompt and proper emergency measures were commended by the fire officials.
