Binjiang Property is the Guardian of Residential Quarters Against Cold and Virus as “Scarecrows” are Protectors of Fire Hydrants Against Cold
Publisher: Release time:2021-12-07
As we are now in December, the twelfth and last month of this year, we are about to run out of our time left in 2021 and enter the new year of 2022. Are you trying harder to achieve your last small goal of the year? As a response to the forecast that the Jiangnan region would step into the world of winter very soon in December, the frontline property management staff of Binjiang Property set about preparing for cold-resistance early at late November. On the other hand, the appearance of the new Omicron variant of COVID-19 which has attracted close attention of the world also challenges Binjiang Property to tighten the pandemic prevention line more seriously and scientifically.

The cold-air outbreak has brought the temperature down sharply. To protect against the cold and bring more warmth to proprietors, residential quarters of Binjiang Property has taken positive actions and got all kinds of insulation materials, antiskid mats, and tools ready in advance.

Engineers in residential quarters put cold-proof devices on various water pipes, fire hoses and fire hydrants to make sure that all facilities can function normally in the cold winter. In Quzhou Chunjiangyue, the engineer Liu designed and made scarecrow coats for all 12 fire hydrants in the residential quarter from insulation materials left over from last year. These “scarecrows” has become an enviably small and special scene of Quzhou Chunjiangyue. According to Liu, these coats can effectively avoid frost on hydrants. Let’s applaud for Liu’s out-of-the-original idea.

In late November, the service center of Hangzhou Central Mansion offered winter-protection service for proprietors. Engineering staff visited proprietors’ home and carefully cleaned tap filter screens and guided winter-protection for water pipes on balconies. With this service, proprietors no longer have to worry about their home appliances in spite of the cold-air outbreak.

With the guidance of the landscape architect of Binjiang Property, greening workers of various residential quarters painted trees of poor cold resistance white with lime sulfur to prevent these trees from frost as well as insects. The neat white line is exactly the same as what we can see now on trees such as Chinese parasol trees by the West Lake and is a typical scene of winter.

Tropical plants such as palm trees, Phoenix canariensis and Washingtonia filifera are a feature of Binjiang Property mansions. These days, diligent greening workers put cold-proof non-woven coats on tropical plants 2.5-3 meters above the roots according to the given standard to help these trees weather the cold winter. The landscape architect Master Guo also suggests that these trees should wear another plastic film when the temperature is below zero.

To fully and practically implement epidemic control is a top priority of the work of all projects of Binjiang Property, especially building projects. How is the epidemic control work going now? Property management staff keep strict control of the gate and require office workers to wear masks and show the unified QR codes issued by the government. Only those with a green code and normal body temperature measured by the machine or property management staff are allowed to enter buildings. Elevator cars are disinfected four times a day, and disinfection of other public areas is also implemented strictly following the requirements. And face-to-face delivery of takeouts is also prohibited to avoid contact. All necessary epidemic control measures are taken strictly with no slackness.

As we all expect, spring will sure come. We believe that as long as we strain every nerve and pay enough attention to details, as long as we continue to wear masks, keep social distance, wash hand and ventilate frequently, and reduce gathering, we will leave no open door to and will definitely defeat the virus.
